Envi­ron­men­tal jus­tice is about a fact: through­out the world, the poor suf­fer dis­pro­por­tion­ate­ly from the envi­ron­men­tal pol­lu­tions and destruc­tions pro­duced by soci­ety at large, and, more specif­i­cal­ly, by the rich­est and the most pow­er­ful, be it nations or indi­vid­u­als. This fact rais­es nor­ma­tive questions.
